Connect with community and tune into your natural frequencies as we learn to explore this ancient healing tradition.
During this beginner-friendly workshop we'll learn history and theory behind the sound-healing arts, explore this as both a solo and complimentary modality to health and wellness, learn some basic technique, and engage in hands-on instrument play.
The session will begin and conclude with 15-20 minute sound-healing group sessions (sound-bath).
Instruments we'll explore: Crystal and Metal Singing Bowls, Koshi Chimes, Gongs, Drums, etc. (Instruments will be available for experiment, but feel free to bring your own favorites too).
Why Sound-Healing?
Sound vibrations stimulate the nervous system, medulla, and auditory system, allowing the brain, body, and breath to relax with a flood of mood-lifting neurotransmitters. Participants report an almost effortless sense of calm and relaxation with an increased ability to focus or meditate and even more profound, ethereal experiences.
